
We are hosting an inclusive, sensory-friendly trick or treating event for children with special needs and their families!
Halloween can be difficult for children with differences that impact their sensory, social, physical, and communication abilities.
This event is aimed at making trick-or-treating an accessible activity for children of all abilities!
You are encouraged to dress up and join us for a safe, friendly, and fun time where local businesses and volunteers will be providing an awesome selection of treats for your goodie bags/buckets/pumpkins/etc.
COST:
This event is FREE!
We are so grateful to our local businesses, sponsors, and volunteers for participating and making this event happen!
REGISTRATION:
Registering in advance is not required, however, it is highly appreciated as it helps us plan for the event accordingly (nobody wants to run out of candy!!!).

What to expect

Your child/children, and any family members that join, will be invited to walk around the Challenger Center and collect treats from each table hosted, or donated, by a local business and/or volunteer.

A sensory-friendly environment free of sudden noises, loud music, scary decorations, flashing lights, etc.

An accessible environment for people of all physical abilities (with no uneven, or poorly lit sidewalks)

Children of all ages and abilities having access to a fun, inclusive trick or treating opportunity!

Lots of smiles, laughter, and good times
